Dr. John Lyons, III received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA, and his Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.
Dr. Lyons, III is board certified in General Surgery and specializes in treating gastrointestinal tumors, diseases of the liver, pancreas and bile ducts, melanoma, sarcoma, as well as benign and malignant breast disease. He is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, North American Neuroendocrine Tumor Society, Louisiana State Medical Association, American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
