R. DeSha Folgar, MD is a graduate of LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. She completed a Family Medicine residency at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident from 2006-2007. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
